USAB is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is a member federation of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and Badminton World Federation.

USAB is seeking candidates to be considered for election to the Technical Official Director vacancy on the USAB Board of Directors. The term runs from the election through December 31, 2023, with the opportunity to be elected to a second four-year term. Please note the following relative to service on the Board:

The Board of Directors shall meet at regularly scheduled meetings at least two (2) times per year, one of which may be held remotely. Board members pay their own way (travel, lodging and meals) to attend the in-person meeting(s).

To be nominated for the Technical Official Director vacancy, the nominee must be a national level technical official.

Nominees will be considered by the Nominating and Governance Committee. The Nominating and Governance Committee shall select at least two (2) individuals, assuming at least two are nominated and meet the minimum requirements, from those nominated who shall then stand for election. All current USAB technical official members shall then vote for the Board director. Each USAB technical official member shall have one (1) vote.
