SafeSport Training Requirement

USA Badminton, together with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, are committed to creating a healthy, supportive, and safe environment for its community. The safety of participants is of paramount importance to USAB. USAB has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for abuse and misconduct.

This training is required for all new and existing members in accordance with the USAB SafeSport Policy. The content of the SafeSport Training is developed and maintained by the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Note: Effective immediately, all applicable USA Badminton members are required to complete the SafeSport™ Trained Core course annually in order to remain in compliance. USA Badminton will cover the full cost of the training for affiliated members, and there is no fee to complete the course through USA Badminton.

A training access key is required to access the SafeSport™ Trained course through USA Badminton.

Members interested in completing the training should contact Eliza.roberts@usabadminton.org and include the following information:
• Full name
• USA Badminton member ID number
• Whether you are a new user or a returning user

Please note that different training keys are required for new users and returning users.

Once your request is received, you will be provided with the appropriate training key and instructions to access your SafeSport Training account affiliated with USA Badminton.

Please DO NOT create a new account directly through the SafeSport website without a USA Badminton training key, as your account will not be affiliated with USA Badminton and you may be directed to pay for the course.
