USAB Badminton Announces New Chairman

Colorado Springs, Colorado – USA Badminton announced the appointment of Fred Teng as its new chairman. Mr. Teng was unanimously voted the new Chairman by the Board of Directors on January 31, 2023. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization and is poised to lead USA Badminton to new heights.

Mr. Teng has been involved in the sport of badminton for over 10 years and has a deep passion for its growth and development. He was first appointed as an Independent Director of USA Badminton in 2020 and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing the sport at all levels. Mr. Teng has held senior executive positions in the finance, telecommunication, and media industries; he was also appointed to serve on various commissions at the Federal, State, and City levels.

Under his leadership, USA Badminton will continue its mission of promoting and growing the sport of badminton in the United States. He will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, clubs, and members to provide a vision for the organization and implement programs and initiatives that will drive the sport forward.

USA Badminton is the national governing body for the sport of badminton in the United States and is responsible for promoting and developing the sport at all levels.
