Beiwen Zhang Wins Again at HYLO Open

Beiwen Zhang collected another victory as she took the top spot at the HYLO Open 2023, a BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament held in Saarbrucken, Germany.
This is her second consecutive victory as she also claimed gold at the recent Pan American Games in Santiago.
After her win in Germany, Zhang said, “I’m finally stress-free. People were expecting me to win the Pan Am (Games) and this tournament. I’ve done both and I think I can qualify for the World Tour Finals too. I can relax a little bit now.”
Zhang has moved up one position in the world rankings for women’s singles to ninth place. Her 2023 season also included a win at the Australian Open in August, making this her most successful season since 2018.
