Miles Krajewski Triumphs Over Tokyo 2020 Gold Medalist at Paris 2024

In a spectacular display of skill and determination, USA Paralympian Miles Krajewski triumphed over Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Krishna Nagar from India 21-16 and 21-18. This win is a significant milestone in Krajewski’s career, reflecting both his dedication and the intensity of the competition. In a post-match interview, Krajewski revealed how he maintained his composure throughout the match, stating, “I needed to win it, so I just buckled down and drowned everything out until I finally won it.” Despite facing a challenging moment when he was down 11-4, Krajewski returned to his usual playing style, which ultimately led him to victory. Krajewski did not adjust his game plan significantly; instead, he returned to playing slowly to frustrate his opponent, which proved to be an effective strategy.

He expressed that this win holds particular significance because of Nagar’s status as an Paralympic gold medalist, noting, “Beating him here means a lot, especially after all the hard work I put in. He obviously put up a tough fight.” Reflecting on the support he has received, he conveyed his gratitude to his supporters, saying, “Thank you for everything. It means a lot, especially to my friends and family back home.” As for the feeling of being a Paralympian, Krajewski shared, “It feels amazing. I’ve always wanted to be one, and finally being on this stage means a lot because I accomplished my dream.” This victory not only highlights Krajewski’s talent but also his spirit and commitment to his sport.
