Athlete Stipend Criteria

Athlete Stipend eligibility criteria will be split into two eligibility periods, the first period being defied as January 1st, 2025 – June 30th, 2025, and the second period defined as July 1st, 2025 – December 31st, 2025. Only athletes competing as Paralympic eligible Doubles or Mixed Doubles pairs will be considered for Athlete Stipends. 

Period 1: January 1st, 2025 – June 30th, 2025

• Athletes achieving a top 4 finishing placement at the 2024 Paralympic Games will be eligible for a $1,000 per month Athlete Stipend to be paid on or before the end of each month through the duration of Period 1.

Period 2: July 1st, 2025 – December 31st, 2025

• Athlete pairs ranked in the top 12 of the BWF’s Para Badminton World Rankings at any time during Period 2 will be eligible for a $1,000 per month Athlete Stipend to be paid on or before the end of each month through the duration of Period 2.

EAHI Criteria

EAHI eligibility criteria will be based upon an athlete’s positioning on the BWF’s Para Badminton World Rankings. Athletes competing in Individual, Doubles, or Mixed Doubles events will be considered for EAHI. Athlete ranking criteria in individual event or doubles event categories are as follows:

• Individuals athletes ranked in the top 15 of the BWF’s Para Badminton World Rankings at any time during 2025 will be eligible for EAHI beginning on the date in which the top 15 ranking was achieved through December 31st, 2025. 
• Doubles or Mixed Doubles pairs ranked in the top 15 of the BWF’s Para Badminton world Rankings at any time during 2025 will be eligible for EAHI beginning on the date in which the top 15 ranking was achieved through December 31st, 2025.
