Allison Lee/Lauren Lam, Jennie Gai/Francesca Corbett, and Jasmine Yeung/Audrey Chang all progressed to R16.
Presley Smith and Jennie Gai placed 3/4. The pair put up a fight in the semi-finals, playing through all three rounds. The match ended in a scoreline of 16-21 21-18 7-21 against their opponents, the Chinese pair Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Ding Ping, who are currently ranked #1 in the world for Mixed Doubles.
Both players were excited to see their hard work paying off. On Instagram, Gai reflected, “overall very happy with the progress we’re making, and to have played with some of my idols.” Similarly, Smith expressed that he was “super happy with our performances after a long stretch of training.”
What an amazing week – congratulations to our players! Excited to see more action at the YONEX US Open 2026 later this month.
