Q. What are your goals for badminton?
A. My primary goal is to make it to the Paralympic Games and Podium. My secondary goal is to participate in the Paralympic Games. My third goal is to podium at multiple international competitions. Off the court, I hope to be involved with coaching and part of behind the scenes aspect of Para-badminton.
What is your favorite thing about the sport of badminton?
A. My favorite thing about Badminton is the speed of the game. It takes my adrenaline through the roof. I feel like I just finished a triathlon when I am done training after 3 or 4 hours.
Q. Tell us one fun fact about you.
A. One fun fact about me is that I have approximately 5 left legs.
Career highlights:
- Attending a Military Camp at the Olympic/Paralympic Training Site in Birmingham, Alabama, where I met Coach Dean Schoppe who introduced Badminton to me in 2017.
- Traveling around the world representing Team USA.
- Participating at the World Championships in Switzerland last year.
