Beiwen Zhang Reaches Semifinals at Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023

Beiwen Zhang continues her latest string of victories as she moves on to the semifinals at the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023, taking place from November 14, 2023 to November 19, 2023.
In the quarterfinals on November 17th, Zhang played a hard-fought match against Chinese Taipei’s Tai Tzu Ying. Each athlete won a game 21-19 before Tai Tzu Ying retired due to injury near the start of the third game.
Zhang faces Indonesia’s Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the semifinals on November 18, and is the third match scheduled on Court 1. Tournament play starts at 10:00 AM local time in Japan (6:00 PM PST on November 17).
