Miles Krajewski Narrowly Falls in Quarterfinals at Paris 2024

Today, we witnessed a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship in the Men’s Singles match featuring Miles Krajewski against his good friend and fierce competitor, Vitor Tavares from Brazil. The game was a nail-biter, stretching over 47 intense minutes. Despite Miles putting up a valiant effort, he narrowly lost the match with scores of 12-21, 21-10, 21-23.

In a post-match interview, Miles shared his reflections: “Playing against Vitor is always a mix of challenge and joy. Even though the stakes are high, especially with the Paralympic potential on the line, I try to focus solely on the game. At the end of the day, whether I win or Vitor does, our friendship remains strong. It’s great to see that even in intense competition, we can support each other.”

On those last few crucial points: “I knew that if I missed even one shot, it could cost me the game. I was determined to cover every possible angle and dive for every shot. I left everything on the court.”

Miles also touched on the impact of last night’s late game: “Not getting enough sleep and recovery definitely affected me, but I pushed through and gave it my all.”

Reflecting on Vitor’s performance: “He was exceptionally sharp today, hitting every line. It was tough, but I played my best and couldn’t have done much differently.”
