USAB, together with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), and the U.S. Center for SafeSport are committed to creating a healthy, supportive and safe environment for its community. The safety of its participants is of paramount importance to USAB. USAB has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for abuse and misconduct.
This training is required for all new and existing members in accordance with the USAB Safe Sport Policy. The content of the SafeSport Training is developed and maintained by the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Note: The required SafeSport TM Trained course and its refreshers are free for USA Badminton members that have affiliated their account with USA Badminton through the course link or previously took the courses through their SimplyCompete account.
If you have not taken the training before, you should start with the SafeSport TM Trained – NGB course. Completion of this course will grant a certificate valid for 1 year from the date the course is passed. After the first year, you will take take a 30-minute refresher course each year after that to stay in compliance. These are all free through USA Badminton if your account is affiliated.
