U.S. Athletes Compete at TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2023

Twelve U.S. athletes are competing at the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark this week. Competition runs from Aug. 21-27.

With veterans and newcomers alike, Team USA’s athletes bring a variety of experience to the world championships. The Americans are led by current world No. 10 Beiwen Zhang who is fresh off of her victory in women’s singles at the Australian Open. On the other end of the spectrum, seven U.S. athletes are competing at their first world championships. Athletes denoted with an asterisk below are making their championship debut.
