U.S. finishes 6th at BWF World Junior Championships 2022

Congratulations to the U.S. team on an outstanding performance at the BWF World Junior Championships 2022! As the Team Event drew to a close on October 22, 2022, the U.S. team achieved an unprecedented 6th place finish out of 37 teams. The future is bright for our junior athletes!

The U.S. ended at the top of Group G with wins over Armenia (5-0), Sri Lanka (4-1), and Czech Republic (4-1). After a loss to Japan (0-3), the team bounced back with victory against Spain (3-0) before being defeated by China (0-5). 

The U.S. is represented in the team event by Ella Lin, Adrian Mar, Chloe Ho, Aaron Bai, Natalie Chi, Ryan Ma, Kodi Tang Lee, and Andre Chim. They are supported by Head Coach Andy Chong, Assistant Coach Hendry Winarto, and Team Manager Trenton Szeto. 

Next up is the Individual Event in the Eye Level Cup at the BWF World Junior Championships 2022. U.S. athletes Henry Tang, Ashley Yang, Jolie Wang, Andrew Yuan, and Veronica Yang will be joining the Team Event athletes in participation. Good luck to all our athletes!
