U.S. WINS GOLD in XXIX Pan Am Junior Championships 2021 Team Event

On the final day of the XXIX Pan Am Junior Championships 2021 in Acapulco, Mexico, the U.S. athletes put up a remarkable performance with a 3-0 win in the finals against Brazil to take first place in the team event.
In mixed doubles, Ryan Ma and Allison Lee defeated Brazil’s Marcos Ryan Santos Sousa and Julia Viana Vieira 22-20 and 21-16.
In boy’s singles, Don Averia took his match, 21-14, 21-14 against Brazil’s Deivid Silva.
In girl’s singles, Natalie Chi faced Juliana Viana Vieira in a rematch of yesterday’s three-game battle and this time came away with a victory, 21-7 and 21-17.
