Last week six US athletes took to the court at the YONEX French Open 2026, which ran from October 20th through 25th in Tremblay, France. Both Women’s Double pairs progressed to round of 16 and both put up a valiant effort against some of the world’s top players.
Lauren Lam and Allision Lee faced off against Japanese pair Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto, who currently rank at third in the world. Likewise, Jennie Gai and Francesca Corbett played against Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi, the number five pair in the world. Lam and Lee confided after their loss in the Denmark Open quarterfinals that “Every experience is a lesson.”
Wishing our players the best as they continue on the BWF World Tour!
