USA Badminton is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented individual to join our team as Athlete Service Manager.

Position Summary
The Athlete Service Manager oversees athlete services, international tournament administration, compliance tracking, rankings administration, and club membership support for USA Badminton. This role serves as a primary point of contact for athletes, coaches, tournament organizers, and partner organizations while supporting USA athletes competing domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
International Tournament & Athlete Services
- Manage entries and withdrawals for BWF sanctioned tournaments.
- Process BWF ID applications and federation transfers.
- Serve as the primary contact for athletes, tournament organizers, BWF, USOPC, and USADA regarding international competition matters.
- Coordinate athlete and staff compliance requirements, including USAB membership, SafeSport, background checks, and Code of Conduct completion.
- Manage logistics and administration for international representation events, including:
- Athlete confirmations
- Coach coordination
- Travel information and insurance
- Tournament communications
- Team administration and on-site support when assigned
- Maintain athlete and coach databases, records, and compliance tracking.
- Assist athletes with tournament entry procedures, eligibility questions, rankings information, and international competition resources.
- Manage and maintain USA Badminton junior rankings and provide rankings information when requested.
- Coordinate accreditations for athletes, coaches, and support staff.
- Track and process BWF and USAB penalty fees and reimbursements.
- Review and update international entry selection procedures and policies.
Club Membership Support
- Serve as the primary contact for USAB member clubs.
- Assist clubs with membership applications, insurance, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain club records, compliance reports, and website updates.
Event Support
- Attend National Championships, Selection Events, and other designated events to provide administrative and operational support.
- Assist with on-site athlete and team administration during Selection Events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sports management, administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in sports administration, event operations, or athlete services preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with BWF, USOPC, SafeSport, and anti-doping procedures preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
