USAB Coaching Pass 2021-22 Open – BWF Required

The Coaching Pass Application for the 2021-2022 season is now open to USA Badminton members and coaches. The pass is required to coach at all 2021-2022 USAB Sanctioned Junior Ranking Tournaments and must be visibly worn at tournaments.
In partnership with the Badminton World Federation, USAB only recognizes coaches certified through the USAB/BWF High-Performance coaching pathway. Certification at BWF- Level 1 requires coaches to complete both the online component and the in-person portion with a BWF assessor.
For the purposes of obtaining a USA Badminton Coaching Pass, you are required to successfully complete ONLY the online component of the BWF-Level 1.
Coach Eligibility Requirements:
Through USAB SimplyCompete:
Current USAB Membership
Active and Passed Background Check.
Complete and current SafeSport Training.
2×2 Passport Appropriate Photo uploaded to the SimplyCompete profile.
Signed Coach’s Code of Conduct (LINK HERE).
Through BWF:
BWF Level 1 Online course certificate emailed to coachingpass.usab@gmail.com.
