Wichita, Kansas Selected to Host 2026 Yonex U.S. Junior National Championships

USA Badminton is pleased to announce that the 2026 Yonex U.S. Junior National Championships will take place in Wichita, Kansas, July 8–14, 2026.
The event will be hosted at Wichita’s EDGE Sports Complex, located at 5260 N. Tyler Dr., Bel Aire, KS 67226. The championship will welcome junior athletes from across the United States and beyond, providing participants of all competitive levels the opportunity to compete in a premier national event.
This prestigious tournament will feature competition in the U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19 age groups. USA Badminton is pleased to open participation to both U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens residing in the United States, excluding individuals in the country on short term visas such as B visas.
“We are excited to bring the 2026 Yonex U.S. Junior National Championships to Wichita,” said John Ruger, Interim Chief Executive Officer of USA Badminton. “This event represents an important opportunity to showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our junior athletes while continuing to grow and strengthen our sport nationwide.”
Local partners also expressed enthusiasm about welcoming the event to the region.
