XXXIII Pan Am Junior Championships & World Junior Championships 2025 – Team and Individual Athletes

USA Badminton is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent USA at the XXXIII Pan Am Junior Championships and the 2025 BWF World Junior Championships. See here for the full list of winners. 

The 2025 YONEX U.S. Selection Event for Pan Am Junior Championships & World Junior Championships was held on April 18-21, 2025, at Can-Am Elite Badminton & Sports located at 691 Race St, San Jose, CA 95126.

The XXXIII Pan Am Junior Championships will take place in Guatemala City, Guatemala from July 10 – 18, 2025.
 
USA Badminton will announce the Head Coach and Assistant Coach(es) for this tournament at a later date. The role of the Coaches is to prepare the athletes for success on the field of play and support them at the event.
 
The Team Manager for this event will also be announced at a later date. The Team Manager’s duties are to serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the athletes, coaches and USAB before and during the PAJC Team and Individual competition and to be the primary contact to coordinate and communicate with the host/organizers onsite on behalf of the USAB team.
 
The first part of the Pan Am Junior Championships, starting July 10, will feature the U19 Team Competition. Starting July 14, Team USA will have 61 athletes competing in the Individual Competition for U13, U15, U17, and U19 categories.
 
Congratulations to all the athletes who will be representing the USA in the XXXIII Pan Am Junior Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

The BWF World Junior Championships 2025 will take place in Guwahati, Assam, India from October 6 – 19, 2025.

USA Badminton will announce the Head Coach and Assistant Coach(es) for this tournament at a later date. The main goal of the Head Coach, with the assistance of the Assistant Coaches, is to prepare the Team and individual athletes for success on the field of play: including the coach setting the line-ups for each tie.

The Coach position is a voluntary funded position by USAB for travel & lodging. However, in the event that funding falls short, reimbursement of expenses will be reduced at USAB’s sole discretion. USAB High Performance Committee (USAB HPC) intends to name a Head Coach. We reserve the right to adjust/change the number and assignment of Coach(es) selected.

The Team Manager for this event will also be announced at a later date. The Team Manager’s duties are to serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the athletes, coaches and USAB before and during the WJC Team and Individual competition and to be the primary contact to coordinate and communicate with the host/organizers onsite on behalf of the USAB team.

The first part of the World Junior Championships will feature the U19 Mixed Team Competition. In the Individual Competition, Team USA will have 17 athletes competing.
