BWF Approves 3×15 Scoring System

At the 87th Annual General Meeting of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) , the global membership voted to officially adopt the 3×15 scoring system. The BWF has indicated that it will continue listening closely to Members, stakeholders, and players as the sport transitions to this updated format.

The new system will come into effect on Monday January 4th, 2027.
